We are looking for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Preschool Teacher.

Duties: Responsible for planning and implementing activities
to meet the physical, emotional,intellectual and social needs
of the Japanese children in the program. Plan and
conduct activities designed to promote physical, mental
and social development. Arrange indoor and outdoor
space to facilitate creative plays and activities. Provide
weekly and monthly schedules of activities and develop
culturally appropriate programs and activities. Develop
activities that introduce math and literacy concepts in
Japanese. Establish policies and procedures including
acceptable disciplinary policies. Supervise children all
times. Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
Consult and discuss children’s development with
Japanese parents and professionals if necessary.
Supervise, evaluate and plan assignments for teacher
assistants.

Requirement: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
or related and 2 yrs experience as a preschool teacher
or related required. Fluency in Japanese language is also
required.

Salary: $35,235.20/yr.
